Hey NTB, I'm looking to cop some wool pants like Ervell's doing this season but hopefully at a lower pricepoint. Any recommendations? Only issue is I'm a 28" waist. Thanks man.

Our Legacy’s tweed trouser in Grey Weed is pretty close to the Ervell jawnz of which you speak. End Clothing has them in a Euro 46 (which is smallish American 30), so you can always have it taken in an inch. And, on the brightside, it is about $120 cheaper than its Ervell counterpart.
Do you know of any other brands that produce a trouser with a fit similar to Epaulets 'Rudy' trouser, and at a similar or lower price point?

Epaulet is the Trouser King of New York, and I refuse to champion any other brand around that price point.
But if I must, the Our Legacy Plumbago and Billy Reid Graham both look to have a similar fit (I wear Epaulet’s “Walt” fit, so I’m not the best guy for this question) and are made from quality fabrics.
Vanishing Elephant
Vanishing Elephant pulling a J Crew and just ripping off other labels. There, I said it.
Now I’m not saying that the kitchen stripe shirt is, or should be, exclusive to Gitman Vintage or any other label, for that matter (Our Legacy had a dope kitchen stripe SS ‘11, too). I’m just saying that this particular kitchen stripe shirt is shockingly similar to GV and OL SS ‘11 (SS vs. AW and cotton vs. linen notwithstanding, particularly seeing that I can’t imagine anyone actually wearing the VE shirt deep into AW).
But that brings me to my next point: this is a perfect example of how laying the ground work by doing the proper research will keep your wallet fatter. I’m starting to like VE; however, it’s not in the same league as GV or OL. VE’s interpretation of the kitchen striped shirt is retailing at AUD 110 (which is approximately USD 115), while the GV and OL versions can be found online anywhere ranging from approximately €80 to £90 (or anywhere from USD 92 to USD 150).
And that’s not all—American consumers will benefit from the VAT/GST tax rebate in Europe over Australia. That is, American consumers enjoy a 20% rebate on EU purchases compared to 10% on Australian purchases (can someone from Australia confirm the VAT/GST rebate—I believe this is correct).
So where does that get us? After rebates are tallied, but before shipping is contemplated, VE will go for about USD 99 while GV/OL will go for anywhere between USD 74 and USD 120.
I think this is a no-brainer—GV/OL all day.
It’s no secret that Tres Bien Shop is one of my favorite e-shops out there. And I gots mad love for the dude Sune—anyone who has to stand in front of a camera to model 656779 pieces of clothing each season gets love in my book. But man, someone fell asleep at the wheel here. Are you kidding me? That wedgie is so deep it looks as if his chinos are actively trying to reach his large intestine.
In any event, none of this changes my opinion with respect to Tres Bien (or Sune). In fact, I’ll probably buy said chinos, tonight. I’m just shocked shit like this (no pun intended) goes unnoticed.
