Forever 21 Elbow Patch Striped Sweater $20.90

You think that sweater is too big?  NAH SON: that model is a member of a rare super-species of Hominidae that can stretch his torso into any shape he desires.  The bacon-neck shirt that’s two sizes two big?  Don’t ask, I have no idea what the fuck is going on there.

  2. What are some quality sweaters than transition well from fall to winter?

Unlike some boners, I don’t believe in intra-season transitional (e.g., fall to winter or spring to summer) pieces.  Keep a rotation, layer according to the weather (and not your whim) and avoid caring too much about concepts that retailers invent to try to get you to buy more jawnz.

  3. Do you have any thoughts on fair isle?

Just don’t O.D. on it.  That being said, it should only be worn during the dead of winter, meaning between December 1 and February 1.  If done subtly, as in socks and gloves, I’m all about it—I mean, crazy go nuts all about it.  But as per sweaters and the like, be careful, because you run the risk of looking just plain fruity.
